No T. Rex in Heaven: John Porcellino answers the Proust Questionnaire
I was introduced to John's work through one of the King Cat comics this past spring. As I was thumbing through the pages, I came across a drawing of a bird that nearly broke my heart. The immediacy of that little sketch communicated the limits and potential of all things rendered by hand: a desire to communicate, the imperfection of our attempts, and the place where the two meet. I asked John to answer the Proust Questionnaire and have reproduced it here for you. We will be hosting John on Tuesday, November 25th, for a book signing of The Hospital Suite and film screening of his documentary, Root Hog or Die. For more info about the event, please feel free to contact us or see the event details here. John's book is available for sale here and his personal site is here.
Here we go...thanks, John.
